Orange Sport 1 is Romanian television network owned by Orange România. The channel broadcasts sports events related to football, motorsports, basketball, tennis, golf and boxing.
History[]
Orange Sport 1 was launched on 11th November 2006 as Boom Sport. Launch of the broadcast for sports events.
On 18th June 2007, Boom Sport was renamed as Boom Sport One.
On 13th August 2010, Boom Sport One was renamed as Dolce Sport.
On 3th May 2011, Dolce Sport was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st June 2012, Dolce Sport was renamed as Dolce Sport 1.
On 22nd April 2013, Dolce Sport 1 was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 25th November 2014, Dolce Sport 1 was launched in high-definition version replaced main HD channel.
On 12th September 2017, Dolce Sport 1 was renamed to Telekom Sport 1.
On 21st July 2021, Telekom Sport 1 was acquired by Orange România.
On 28th March 2022, Telekom Sport 1 was renamed as Orange Sport 1.
On 30th June 2024, Orange Sport 1 was closed by reason: merger of former Romtelecom and Orange.
