Orbit Plus is Scretone television network owned by TV4 Media. The channel broadcasts entertainment, documentaries, movies, sports and current-affairs programmings.
History[]
Orbit Plus was launched on 5th October 1998 as Orbit 2. Launch of the broadcast for celebrity news, series, entertainment, movies and sports.
On November 2002, Orbit 2 was acquired by SBS Broadcasting Group.
On 1st March 2003, Orbit 2 is renamed O2 and the new broadcast format for news, movies, entertainment, series, documentaries and sports.
On 20th November 2008, O2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 27th February 2013, O2 is renamed Orbit Plus also switched to 16:9 image format.
On 28th October 2014, Orbit Plus was launched in high-definition version.
On 10th September 2018, Orbit Plus' female voice-over was changed.
On 5th September 2022, Orbit Plus was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
