Paramount Network is Dekanian television network owned by Paramount International Networks Dekania. The channel broadcasts movies from Paramount Pictures libraries.
History[]
Paramount Network was launched on 1st June 2002 as Pulse TV originally owned by RT-Rolf. Launch of the channel broadcast music videos and game-shows as part of Metrovision's Multikanal.
On 11th June 2004, Pulse TV was merged with NDR Melodija to form MTV NDR Pulse was owned by Nacionalna Dekanska Radiodifuzija and MTV Networks Dekania with the new broadcast format for music videos related to pop, rock, dance, chill-out and electronic.
On 13th September 2010, MTV NDR Pulse is renamed MTV Pulse and the new broadcast format for music videos and entertainment programmings.
On 1st July 2011, MTV Pulse was rebranded with the new logo and was changed.
On 1st October 2013, MTV Pulse was rebranded with the new idents was changed as part of MTV's international rebranding effort and switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2014, MTV Pulse is renamed Paramount Channel with the new broadcast format for Paramount Pictures' movie libraries also stopped the 4:3 image format and then became full 16:9 image format and high-defintion version.
On 1st November 2018, Paramount Channel's streaming service Paramount+ was launched.
On 29th April 2022, Paramount Channel will be renamed as Paramount Network in 1st June.
On 1st June 2022, Paramount Channel was renamed as Paramount Network.
