History[]

Pikelandish Company was founded in March 10, 1969, under the name Pikelandish Radio and Television Company with the merge of Pikelandish Television and Pikelandish Radio. Its former bodies Pikelandish Television and Pikelandish Radio were launched on March 10, 1956.

The second television channel PTV2 was launched on September 19, 1988.

On November 15, 2018, Pikelandish Radio and Television Company was big renovation follows:

  • Pikelandish Radio and Television Company was renamed as Pikelandish Company
  • PTV1 and PTV2 was renamed as Pikefauna 1 and Pikefauna 2
  • PikeLeitio was renamed as Leitio Pikefauna
  • New channels: Pikefauna Taaloga (sports) and Pikefauna Tamaiti (children)
  • New stations: Leitio Pikefauna Fao, Leitio Pikefauna Oso and Leitio Pikefauna Siva
