Planète+ A&E is French entertainment television network owned by MultiThématiques. The channel broadcasts A&E programmings
History[]
Planète Forum was created on September 2, 1998. It is devoted to the debates illustrated by a documentary that was broadcast on Planète 2.
On September 2, 2001, Planète Forum changed to become Planète Future. Its programming is then modified and is centered on the future inspired by reality and fiction. The construction of the future is in the perspective of the chain with an essential element at the center of the remarks, the man. According to the channel, the "e" added to the future shows that this silent rhyme invites viewers to think it with more wisdom, gentleness, in a calmer and thoughtful way.
Planète Future evolves on 28 August 2004 in Planète Choc. The program is then intended for an audience of 15 to 34 years, the channel being described as detonating and sometimes provocative by Bruno Thibaudeau, the delegated general manager of the channels of MultiThématiques.
On February 6, 2007, the channel became Planète No Limit. It keeps the same direction but suppresses its side reality television, too criticized.
As a result of MultiThématiques's wishes to get closer to the group's channel, Canal+, it becomes at the same time as its sisters on May 17, 2011 Planète+ No Limit.
November 13, 2013, Planète+ No Limit becomes Planète+ A&E (Planète+ Aventure et Expérience) in association with the American program editor A&E.
On 1 July 2016, it ceased broadcasting on Numericable to be on Canalsat.
