Planeta is Dekanian television network owned by EM Planeta. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to nature, science, geography, history and outdoor programmings.
History[]
Planeta was launched on 18th September 1986. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries. Originally owned by Kompanija Alinkom.
On 30th November 1988, Planeta was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st April 1989, Planeta was acquired by the French comany Ellipse Câble.
On 25th September 1995, Planeta was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 27th September 1999, Planeta was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st September 2003, Planeta was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed designed by View.
On 1st December 2009, Planeta switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2010, Planeta switched to 16:9 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st January 2015, Planeta was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed and the logo is now flat.
On 1st December 2019, Planeta was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st January 2024, Planeta was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
