Planete+ is Polish television network owned by Platforma Canal+. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to history, nature, science, technology, biographies and civilisations.
History[]
Planete+ was launched on 3rd December 1996 as Planete. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 4th September 1999, Planete was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 17th May 2004, Planete was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st December 2009, Planete switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 11th November 2011, Planete is renamed as Planete+. the channel was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st September 2014, Planete+ was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 17th April 2018, Planete+ is celebrating Earth Day.
