Polsat 2 is Polish television network owned by Grupa Polsat Plus. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, talk-shows, current affairs, series and movies programmings.
History[]
Polsat 2 was launched on 1st March 1997. Launch of the broadcast for entertainment, movies, series, sports and cartoons.
On 5th December 1999, Polsat 2's satellite provider Polsat 2 Cyfrowy (now Cyfrowy Polsat) was founded.
On 1st September 2001, Polsat 2 expanded around the world and renamed as Polsat 2 International.
On 4th October 2007, Polsat 2 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 30th October 2007, Polsat 2 switched to 16:9 image format during new programmings.
On 1st September 2010, Polsat 2 was re-added from Cyfra+.
On 1st October 2015, Polsat 2 was the new broadcast format for general interest, stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 6th April 2020, Polsat 2 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 30th August 2021, Polsat 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
