Polsat Box is Polish telecommunication company owned by Grupa Polsat Plus. The company have satellite television, internet and telephony services.
History[]
Polsat Box was founded on 5th December 1999 as Polsat 2 Cyfrowy. Found of the provide for satellite television.
On 1st September 2001, Polsat 2 Cyfrowy is renamed as Polsat Cyfrowy.
On 20th November 2002, Polsat Cyfrowy was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
On 13th June 2003, Polsat Cyfrowy is renamed as Cyfrowy Polsat.
On 1st October 2006, Cyfrowy Polsat was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
On 30th November 2009, Cyfrowy Polsat starting two services: internet and video on demand.
On 1st November 2010, Cyfrowy Polsat was acquired 100% by Telewizja Polsat.
On 13th March 2012, Cyfrowy Polsat acquires the company Redefine.
On 1st May 2018, Cyfrowy Polsat acquires sister telecommunication Netia.
On 30th July 2021, Cyfrowy Polsat will be renaming as Polsat Box on 1st September 2021.
On 1st September 2021, Cyfrowy Polsat is renamed as Polsat Box.
