Polsat Viasat Explore is Polish television network owned by Grupa Polsat Plus and Viasat World Poland. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to science, technology, outdoors, travel and engineering.
History[]
Polsat Viasat Explore was launched on 1st November 2003 as Viasat Explorer. Originally owned by Modern Times Group Poland. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 9th December 2009, Viasat Explorer was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed, switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st March 2013, Viasat Explorer was acquired as a joint-venture with Telewizja Polsat and is renamed as Polsat Viasat Explorer.
On 30th April 2014, Polsat Viasat Explorer is renamed as Polsat Viasat Explore.
On 1st March 2016, Polsat Viasat Explore stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
