Polsat Viasat History is Polish television network owned by Grupa Polsat Plus. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to history, civilisation and ancient people.
History[]
Polsat Viasat History was launched on 1st September 2004 as Viasat History. Originally owned by Modern Times Group Poland. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 9th December 2009, Viasat History was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed, switched to 16:9 image format.
On 16th January 2013, Viasat History stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format.
On 1st March 2013, Viasat History was acquired as a joint-venture with Telewizja Polsat and is renamed as Polsat Viasat History.
On 30th April 2014, Polsat Viasat History was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st March 2016, Polsat Viasat History was launched in high-definition version.
