Prima is Czech television network owned by Federální Televize Prima. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, movies, lifestyle, talk-shows, sports and children's programmings.
History[]
Prima was launched on 20th April 1993, FTV Premiéra. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, movies, series and talk-shows.
On 28th November 1994, FTV Premiéra is renamed as Premiéra TV.
On 3rd January 1997, Premiéra TV is renamed as Prima.
On 29th July 2001, Prima was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 4th April 2005, Prima was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed, was acquired by Modern Times Group.
On 14th January 2008, Prima was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed created by Dream On.
On 22nd December 2009, Prima switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st January 2012, Prima is renamed as Prima Family, stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st August 2013, Prima Family is renamed again Prima.
On 27th August 2017, Prima was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
