Prima TV is Romanian television network owned by Clever Group. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, movies and reality-shows programmings.
History[]
Prima TV was launched on 1st April 1995 as Canal 38 Amerom. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, series, movies, music videos and cartoons.
On 17th December 1997, Canal 38 Amerom is renamed as Prima TV.
On 14th April 2000, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st December 2001, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st June 2004, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed during summer.
On 6th September 2004, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 27th June 2007, Prima TV and Kiss TV were acquired by ProSiebenSat.1 Media.
On 26th October 2011, Prima TV was exited its presenter Șerban Huidu.
On 24th December 2013, Prima TV was acquired by back to Cristian Burci.
On 14th September 2014, Prima TV switched to 16:9 image format.
On 17th December 2014, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 28th January 2015, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 8th September 2020, Prima TV was acquired by Clever Media Network.
On 30th November 2020, Prima TV HD was launched in tests on the Orange TV GO application.
On 7th December 2020, Prima TV was officially launched in high-definition version.
On 20th January 2022, Prima TV was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 16th August 2024, Prima TV was launched in Moldova.
