ProSieben Schweiz is Swiss private television network owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media. The channel broadcasts programmings from ProSieben.
History[]
On February 3, 2006, ProSieben registered its ProSieben Schweiz company with the OFCOM, which granted ProSieben a Swiss license. The channel broadcasts from the beginning essentially a different advertising program for the Swiss market, without broadcasting programs specific to Switzerland, as does for example Sat.1 Schweiz.
After OFCOM has changed the law on television, the channel no longer needs to apply for a concession in 2008 and must only announce itself.
As announced by ProSiebenSat.1 Media in its press release in German, "ProSieben Schweiz was created in 2006 with the aim of following the paid strategy of Sat.1 Schweiz to further anchor the channel in the Swiss population. and the Swiss advertising market."
Pop-ups are marketed by IP Multimedia, which also markets pop-ups for Sat.1 Schweiz and M6 Suisse.
