Pro Arena is Romanian television network owned by Central European Media Enterprises. The channel broadcasts sports events, entertainment, series and reality-shows programmings for male audiences.
History[]
Pro Arena was launched on 27th July 2003 as TV Sport. Launch of the broadcast for sports events. Originally owned by the Romanian businessman Silviu Prigoană.
On 1st January 2004, TV Sport was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On March 2007, TV Sport was acquired by the Romanian businessman Adrian Sârbu.
On 1st June 2007, TV Sport was renamed as Sport.ro.
On 15th November 2009, Sport.ro was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed also switched to 16:9 image format.
On 3rd January 2013, Sport.ro was temporarly removed on Romtelecom Dolce.
On 28th August 2017, Sport.ro was renamed as Pro X.
On 4th April 2022, Pro X was renamed as Pro Arena.
