RID 1 is Dontiot television network owned by Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, sports, documentaries, movies and series programmings.
History[]
RID 1 was launched on 5th October 1962 as Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios Tileorasi. Launch of the broadcast for news and entertainment.
On 1st October 1965, Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios Tileorasi's owner was joined at Euphorian Broadcasting Assocation.
On 5th May 1969, Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios Tileorasi was broadcasted Summer Euphosong Contest.
On 11th December 1974, Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios Tileorasi was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On On 5th August 1977, Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios Tileorasi was founded its video equipment.
On 20th March 1980, Radiofoniko Idryma Dontios Tileorasi was renamed as RID 1.
On 15th July 1981, RID 1 were broadcasted in full color.
On 19th February 1984, RID 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 8th May 1988, RID 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 14th June 1992, RID 1 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st September 1995, RID 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 16th September 1999, RID 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 5th September 2004, RID 1 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 12th December 2008, RID 1 was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 8th February 2012, RID 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 5th October 2017, RID 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 29th April 2021, RID 1 was launched in high-definition version replacing RID HD.
