RTL Crime

RTL Crime is German entertainment television network owned by Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland. The channel broadcasts action, thriller, crime series and documentaries programmings.

History[]

The station radiates only twelve series and four films (different) at present. Announced, however, are international series and documentaries that have not yet been seen in Germany, everything without FSK editing. The series sequences are repeated very often. It also shows repetitions of old and new RTL or Vox broadcasts. The station wants to focus more on crime series from Germany and abroad to the male audience.

Since 1 October 2007, RTL Crime is also included in the Sky package Sky Starter (formerly Premiere Thema and Sky World). RTL Crime is also available for a fee from Vodafone's IPTV offer, as is Telekom Entertain. Since 1 September 2011, there is also a Dutch version of RTL Crime in the Netherlands.

Since May 15, 2012, the HD variant RTL Crime HD is also broadcast on Unitymedia. Since September 25, 2014, RTL Crime is available in HD from Sky in the entertainment package and offers the English original sound on many series for the first time.

On October 1, 2015, RTL Group announced that RTL Crime will undergo a relaunch and re-design on November 12, 2015. At the same time, a new transmitter logo was introduced.

Since 1 August 2017, RTL Crime HD is also available at Vodafone Kabel Deutschland in HD Premium package.
