RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg is Luxembourgian television network owned by RTL Group. The channel broadcasts news, talk-shows, entertainment, game-shows, lifestyle, children's, sports programmings.

History[]

RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg was launched on 23rd January 1955 as Télé Luxembourg. Launch of the broadcast for news and entertainment.

On 1st July 1960, Télé Luxembourg was rebranded and the new logo was changed.

On 1st September 1972, Télé Luxembourg is renamed as RTL Télé Luxembourg, broadcasts in full color.

On 1st September 1979, RTL Télé Luxembourg was broadcasts SECAM color.

On 1st January 1982, RTL Télé Luxembourg is renamed as RTL Télévision.

On 2nd January 1984, RTL Télévision was replaced by RTLplus from West Germany.

On 12nd September 1987, RTL Télévision was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 1st March 1991, RTL Télévision's French language channel was replaced by RTL TV.

On 21st October 1991, RTL Télévision is renamed as RTL Hei Elei.

On 29th January 1998, RTL Hei Elei was rebranded and the new idents were changed.

On 1st September 2001, RTL Hei Elei is renamed as RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg.

On 1st September 2006, RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg was added from Luxembourgian digital terrestrial.

On 18th April 2009, RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed. switched to 16:9 image format.

On 14th June 2010, RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.

On 1st April 2012, RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 19th November 2017, RTL Télé Lёtzebuerg was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
