RTV was launched on 5th October 1998 as Regemkob TV. Launch of the broadcast for news, culture, educational, music videos, entertainment, cartoons and current-affairs.
On 19th July 2001, Regemkob TV was broadcasted football matches.
On 1st September 2005, Regemkob TV was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 30th April 2009, Regemkob TV was renamed as RTV following Intermedia's launch.
On 10th May 2013, RTV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed also launched in high-definition version.
On 6th April 2018, RTV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th June 2020, RTV's streaming service RTV Select was launched.
