Rai Storia is Italian documentary television network owned by Rai. The channel broadcasts the program La storia siamo noi and documentaries about history and culture from Rai Educational and Rai Teche.
Rai Storia is "a mirror of our country" in which we reflect our past, a powerful audiovisual memory presented and analyzed with a strong vocation in comparison with the present. Thanks to some of its specific features (use of Teche Rai's assets, their actualization, the possibility of experimenting with multiple television languages applied to historical disclosure, chronological timeliness and strong attention to anniversaries and anniversaries), aims to reach very wide and heterogeneous audience bands Terms of age, gender, and level of education.
History[]
On May 18, 2010, the channel underwent a graphic rebranding that also affected the Rai logo and other public service channels. Always since 2010, some, still sporadic, broadcast on Rai Storia in 16:9 panoramic format, which accompany both commercial and television promotions, have been launched since November 1, 2009.
From March 2012, the channel only broadcasts at 16:9, if the material is native 4:3, it is displayed in pillarbox.
Since January 4, 2017, the channel has started broadcasting in high definition on the Tivùsat satellite platform.
On April 10, 2017, Rai Storia renews its logo, graphics and colors, moving from light yellow to dark green.
