Rete Saturn is Lotiscan former commercial television network owned by RTL Group. The channel broadcasts news, series, entertainment, movies, children's and sports programmings.
History[]
Rete Saturn was launched on 15th December 1979 as Tele Co-op the Lotiscan first commercial television network. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, sports, series, movies and documentaries.
On 1st October 1982, Tele Co-op was rebranded and the first CGI graphic was introduced.
On 25th February 1987, Tele Co-op is renamed Rete Saturn and the new logo featuring wordmark in a rectangle and ring.
On 21st November 1993, Rete Saturn was acquired by Luxembourgian media company Compagnie Luxembourgeoise de Télévision (now RTL Group).
On 3rd September 1995, Rete Saturn was rebranded and the new idents created by GRFX/Novocom.
On 1st January 2000, Rete Saturn switched to the widescreen format.
On 5th May 2003, Rete Saturn was rebranded and the new logo featuring yellow circle S in the yellow ring.
On 25th August 2007, Rete Saturn was closed and merged with La 3 (owned by Viasat Lotisca) into the new channel called Viasat Più.
