SBS 6 is Dutch television network owned by Talpa Network. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, lifestyle, series, movies, documentaries and talk-shows programmings.
History[]
SBS 6 was launched on 28th August 1995. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment and series.
On 14th October 1997, SBS 6 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st Septmber 2005, SBS 6 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed along with Net 5.
On 1st January 2007, SBS 6 switched to 16:9 image format.
On 12th October 2009, SBS 6 stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 29th July 2011, SBS 6 and this channels were acquired by Sanoma
On 20th October 2013, SBS 6 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 10th April 2017, SBS 6 and this channels were acquired by Talpa Network.
On 2nd August 2018, SBS 6 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 2nd January 2023, SBS 6 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
