Show TV is Turkish television network owned by Ciner Yayın Holding. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, movies, lifestyle, current affairs and religious programmings.
History[]
Show TV was launched on 1st March 1991 as a Turkish-language television channel in France. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment and movies.
On 1st March 1992, Show TV was launched for Turkey.
On 20th March 1995, Show TV's international channel Euro Show was launched.
On 19th September 1999, Show TV was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On 1st October 2002, Show TV was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 29th September 2005, Show TV's international channel Euro Show is renamed as Show Türk.
On 15th April 2006, Show TV's thematic channels Show Max and Show Plus were launched.
On 4th January 2011, Show TV switched to 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 3rd September 2012, Show TV stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format.
On 1st October 2012, Show TV's thematic channel Show Plus is renamed as Dizimax Entertainment.
On 5th June 2015, Show TV and this channels were acquired by Ciner Yayın Holding.
