Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão is Brazilian television network owned by Grupo Silvio Santos. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, movies, series, lifestyle, sports and children's programmings.
History[]
Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was launched on 19th August 1981. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, series and movies.
On 30th March 1985, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the new logo and ident were changed.
On 17th August 1988, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 29th March 1995, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the logo became black.
On 20th August 1996, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed following 15th anniversary.
On 19th August 2001, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed following 20th anniversary.
On 1st June 2004, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 25th December 2012, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão switched to 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 17th August 2014, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed, stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format.
On 20th June 2018, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão introduces a music streaming called "SBT Hits".
