Stella Planet is Elend television network owned by Stella Telecom. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to science, nature, history, civilisation, travel and technology.
History[]
Stella Planet was launched on 17th October 1997 as Mondo. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries. Originally owned by Imerisios Telecast under license with Megathem from United Regadom.
On 1st November 2001, Mondo was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th July 2004, Mondo was acquired by Stella Ellendias then renamed as Stella Planet.
On 1st April 2008, Stella Planet was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2010, Stella Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st November 2012, Stella Planet was launched in high-definition version.
On 5th May 2014, Stella Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st October 2018, Stella Planet was broadcasted History original documentaries.
On 15th March 2021, Stella Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 26th November 2023, Stella Planet was closed in standard-definition version.
