TLC is Dekanian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Dekania. The channel broadcasts reality-shows and lifestyle related to personal stories and family life.
History[]
TLC was launched on 1st June 2000 as Discovery Travel & Adventure. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 1st April 2005, Discovery Travel & Adventure is renamed as Discovery Travel & Living, the new broadcast format for reality-shows and the rest of documentaries.
On 1st January 2010, Discovery Travel & Living was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 23rd March 2011, Discovery Travel & Living is renamed as TLC, the documentaries were removed and switched to 16:9 image format.
On 15th May 2013, TLC was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 30th May 2013, TLC stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 18th May 2016, TLC was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st January 2020, TLC was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 9th April 2022, TLC was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Dekania.
On 1st July 2022, TLC was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
