TRT 1 is Turkish television network owned by Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, movies, sports, talk-shows and current-affairs programmings.
History[]
TRT 1 was launched on 31st January 1968 as Ankara Televizyonu. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment and sports.
On 18th December 1974, Ankara Televizyonu's logo TRT was changed.
On 13th December 1976, Ankara Televizyonu was broadcasts in color programmings in Greece.
On 1st January 1982, Ankara Televizyonu was broadcasts in color programmings.
On 23rd August 1983, Ankara Televizyonu's logo TRT was changed.
On 15th March 1984, Ankara Televizyonu was broadcasts in full color programmings.
On 6th October 1986, Ankara Televizyonu is renamed as TV.1 (following TV.2's launched).
On 2nd October 1989, TV.1 is renamed as TV1 (following TV3's launch).
On 1st July 1993, TV1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 31st January 1998, TV1 is renamed as TRT 1 along this channels.
On 31st January 2001, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed as part of Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu's rebranding effort.
On 21st April 2005, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed created by Dreambox.
On 14th October 2009, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 19th May 2012, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed, switched to 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 28th July 2013, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On 28th November 2018, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On 30th July 2020, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 2nd February 2021, TRT 1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed following 53rd anniversary.
