TV1000 was launched on September 2, 1991 and originally owned by Thematic Media Group Anierica. Launch of the broadcast for movies.
On February 1995, TV1000 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On April 15, 2000, TV1000 was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On March 1, 2003, TV1000 was acquired by Modern Times Group, was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
On September 6, 2004, TV1000 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On January 28, 2008, TV1000 switched to 16:9 image format.
On January 1, 2010, TV1000 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On March 29, 2014, TV1000 stopped the 4:3 image format, launched in high-definition simulcast and was rebranded.
On May 2016, TV1000 was acquired by Viasat World Anierica.
