TV2 is Hungarian television network owned by TV2 Csoport. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, sports, movies, series and children's programmings.
History[]
TV2 was launched on 4th October 1997. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, series, movies, sports and cartoons.
On 15th December 1999, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st September 2002, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 31st August 2003, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 27th June 2007, TV2 was acquired by German media company ProSiebenSat.1 Media.
On 25th August 2008, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st September 2011, TV2 was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 2nd April 2013, TV2 was launched in high-definition version.
On 23th December 2013, TV2 and this channels were acquired by the new company called TV2 Csoport.
On 1st January 2016, TV2 and this channels were sold its commercials breaks by Atmedia.
On 4th October 2020, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st February 2023, TV2 was removed its high-definition logo.
