TV9 was launched on 15th July 1997. Launch of the broadcast for series, entertainment, sports and movies.
On 1st March 2001, TV9 was now 24 hours for this time.
On 1st June 2004, TV9 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st March 2006, TV9 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed created by Velvet mediendesign.
On 10th November 2008, TV9 was acquired by Starmedia.
On 17th October 2011, TV9 switched to 16:9 image format during idents and promos.
On 11th June 2013, TV9 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 15th July 2018, TV9 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed, stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definiton version.
On 13th January 2020, TV9 was closed as standard-definition version but still airing in high-definition version.
On 4th December 2023, TV9 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
