TVL 1 is Lotiscan television network owned by Radio-Televisione Lotiscana. The channel broadcasts news, talk shows, sports, entertainment, series, children's programmings.
History[]
TVL 1 was launched on 30th April 1958 as Televizione Lotiskana. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, children's, sports and documentaries.
On 10th September 1962, Televizione Lotiskana's mascots featuring a kangaroo and a pig "Klementino e Vuollo" was introduced.
On 17th May 1967, Televizione Lotiskana was rebranded with the new logo and ident were changed.
On 30 March 1971, Televizione Lotiskana broadcasts in full color programmings.
On 2nd September 1977, Televizione Lotiskana's mascots featuring three kids were introduced.
On 1st September 1980, Televizione Lotiskana was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 17th December 1985, Televizione Lotiskana is renamed Lotiska Uno.
On 1st January 1990, Lotiska Uno's sister channel Lotiska Tri was launched.
On 26th August 1991, Lotiska Uno was renamed as Lotisca Uno.
On 10th July 1994, Lotisca Uno is renamed to TVL as part of Radio-Televisione Lotiscana's rebranding effort.
On 1st August 1997, TVL's television channels TVL 4 and TVL Ragazzi were launched.
On 22nd September 2002, TVL's news channel TVL 24 was launched.
On 12th November 2003, TVL switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st December 2006, TVL was renamed as TVL 1.
On 17th September 2010, TVL 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 13th October 2014, TVL 1 was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st November 2015, TVL 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Radio-Televisione Lotiscana's rebranding effort.
On 1st September 2016, TVL 1's information programming Mondo was rebranded with the new intro was changed.
On 16th June 2022, TVL 1's information programming Mondo was rebranded with the new intro was changed.
