TVN 2 is Normalian public television network owned by Televiziunea Normâlă. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, game shows, documentaries, sports, movies, series and children's programmings.
History[]
TVN 2 was launched on March 25, 1964.
On September 25, 1978, TVN 2 was rebranded as part of Televiziunea Normâlă's rebranding effort.
On December 15, 1980, TVN 2 broadcasts in full color programmings and rebranded. (along with TVN 1)
On July 22, 1996, TVN 2 was rebranded as part of Televiziunea Normâlă's rebranding effort.
On August 25, 2003, TVN 2 was rebranded as part of Televiziunea Normâlă's rebranding effort.
On February 29, 2016, TVN 2 was rebranded as part of Televiziunea Normâlă's rebranding effort and switched to the widescreen format.
On November 3, 2019, TVN 2 was launched in high-definition simulcast and stopped the 4:3 picture format. (along with TVN 1)
