TVN Turbo

TVN Turbo is Polish sports network owned by Discovery Networks Poland. The channel broadcasts entertainment and sports for men.

History[]

TVN Turbo was launched on December 12, 2003 at 18:00 as the first Polish automotive station. TVN Turbo belongs to the TVN Group. The first head of the channel was Grzegorz Płaza, the channel schedule included min. Top Gear (for the first time on Polish television) and locally produced programs such as Legends of the PRL, or Controlled Purchase. Since 2006, the channel was managed by Maciej Maciejowski and after him by January 2014 Paweł Jordan. Currently, the head of the station is Przemysław Kwiatkowski. The TV slogan is: TVN Turbo - male TV (formerly: male riding). It is available on all digital platforms and on selected cable networks. From October 24, 2016 in Cyfrowy Polsat and nc + is available in HD. From August 15, 2009, the station switched to partial broadcasting at 16: 9. On October 3, 2009, the station completely changed to 16: 9, the graphic design of the station, the musical setting and the logo changed. On November 4, 2011 TVN Turbo was launched in HD quality.
