TVP Historia is Polish knowledge television network owned by Telewizja Polska. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to history and archive programmings.

On August 2, 2006, an application for concession to the Krajowa Rada Radiofonii i Telewizji was submitted. On December 29, 2014, the channel was encrypted. From September 2008, the station began broadcasting some foreign productions with subtitles in Polish. The channel broadcasted the program in hours. 15.00-23.00. From June 25, 2007, the program was broadcast from Monday to Friday from 10.00-0.00, while on weekends in the chair. 8.00-0.00, the number of repetitions of programs was also reduced.
Currently, the channel broadcasts from 7.00 to 4.00 for 7 days a week.
In the spring of 2018, the station was re-launched as part of digital terrestrial television in Lithuania.
