TVP Parlament is Polish news internet network owned by Telewizja Polska. The program have parlament transmission.

History[]

On the Internet, the channel started on June 16, 2011, after 14.00. The channel transmits m.in. sitting of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, the Senate of the Republic of Poland and the European Parliament. In the VOD resources of the website - in addition to the retransmission of plenary sessions of the aforementioned chambers - there are also press conferences and briefings, permanent committee meetings, as well as Polish Television programs, such as tripartite debate, European debate, EurosAbs and Forum. From September 10, 2014, the program is available through the TVP Hybrid Platform in the HbbTV system.

Initially, the channel received a license to distribute the program via satellite from the National Council of Radio and Television on April 15, 2010, but due to the high cost of maintaining this type of issue, it was decided to transfer the station to the Internet in the form of multi-streaming.

In the period from June 20 to July 5, 2011, the website www.tvpparlament.pl recorded about 74 thousand. views and approx. 12,000 users (real users) On December 15, 2011, users of 3G receivers in the Toya cable network, thanks to the WebOnTv application, were granted access to the channel.

On September 10, 2014, the TVP Parlament application appeared on the TVP Hybrid Platform, through which it is possible to receive stations via hybrid television.
