TVR 2 is Romanian television network owned by Televiziunea Română. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, educational, documentaries, movies, series, sports programmings for young people at 3 to 35 years.
History[]
Black and white era (1968 to 1985)[]
TVR 2 was launched on 2nd May 1968 as Programul 2. Launch of the broadcast for news and entertainment.
On 10th June 1973, Programul 2 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 19th June 1976, Programul 2 was purchased the first color reporter car.
On 20th November 1980, Programul 2 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 20th January 1985, Programul 2 was closed by reason: Programul 1 is renamed as TVR.
Color era (1990 to present)[]
On 19th February 1990, TVR 2 was relaunched also broadcasts in full color.
On 28th November 1991, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new logo and ident were changed.
On 17th June 1994, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new logo and ident were changed.
On 23rd February 1998, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st March 2000, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 11th June 2004, TVR 2 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 6th October 2008, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 1st April 2010, TVR 2 was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 11th March 2013, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 15th October 2015, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new idents were changed also enlarged to 16:9 image format during programmings, commercials and continuities.
On 3rd November 2019, TVR 2 was launched in high-definition version replaced TVR HD.
On 15th November 2022, TVR 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
