TVR 3 is Romanian television network owned by Televiziunea Română. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, sports, culture, movies, documentaries and some regional programmings from Televiziunea Română.
TVR 3 was launched on 10th October 2008. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, documentaries and retransmission from Televiziunea Română's regional channels.
On 1st April 2010, TVR 3 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 6th December 2013, TVR 3 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changing the color from purple to green also known at TVR 3 Verde at the time.
On 1st April 2017, TVR 3 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed also the new broadcast format for culture and movies.
On 3rd November 2019, TVR 3 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 13th October 2020, TVR 3 was launched in high-definition simulcast on TVR+.
On 15th November 2022, TVR 3 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
