TVR i

TVR i (TVR Internațional) is Romanian television network owned by Televiziunea Română. The channel broadcasts programmings from Televiziunea Română channels for Romanians living outside Romania.

History[]

TVR i was launched on 1st December 1995. Launch of the broadcast for Televiziunea Română's programmings for around the world.

On 23rd February 1998, TVR i was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.

On 1st March 2000, TVR i was renamed as Romania International.

On 11th June 2004, Romania International was renamed to TVR i.

On 6th October 2008, TVR i was rebranded with the new logo in scripts in gray gradient.

On 1st April 2010, TVR i was switched to 16:9 image format.

On 6th December 2013, TVR i switched to 16:9 image format during new programmings.

On 1st December 2015, TVR i was celebrated its 20 years.

On 3rd November 2019, TVR i stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format.

On 13th October 2020, TVR i was launched in high-definition version exclusively on TVR+.

On 15th November 2022, TVR i was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
