Tele 5 is German television network owned by Discovery Networks Germany. The channel broadcasts entertainment, reality-shows, series and movies programmings.
History[]
Tele 5 was launched on 28th April 2002. Launch of the broadcast for entertainment, series, cartoons and movies.
On 22nd September 2005, Tele 5 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 7th September 2007, Tele 5 switched to 16:9 image format.
On 8th January 2010, Tele 5 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 19th October 2011, Tele 5 stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 22nd July 2013, Tele 5 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 17th May 2017, Tele 5 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 25th April 2019, Tele 5 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st September 2020, Tele 5 was acquired by Discovery Networks Germany.
On 1st October 2021, Tele 5 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
