Telemedia is Dekanian media company. The company have eighteen television channels.
History[]
Telemedia was founded on 28th August 1986 as Stepan Dulonski Communications. Found of the company for local television channels.
On 1st August 1987, Stepan Dulonski Communications' three channels (Telenews, Telemuz and Telesport) were launched.
On 1st November 1990, Stepan Dulonski Communications' channel Telenews International was launched via satellite.
On 19th April 1992, Stepan Dulonski Communications' channel Telesport was acquired by the premium channel Kanal+ and the French television network TF1.
On 13th November 1992, Stepan Dulonski Communications' movie channel Telefilm was launched.
On 5th November 1994, Stepan Dulonski Communications is renamed as Telemedia.
On 1st June 1996, Telemedia's channels Telefilm 2 and Teleshop were launched.
On 1st June 1998, Telemedia's movie channel Telefilm 3 was launched.
On 18th April 1999, Telemedia was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 1st June 2000, Telemedia's movie channel Telefilm Klassika was launched.
On 1st June 2002, Telemedia's channels Telefilm Smecha, Telefilm Ženska and Frizbi Network were launched.
On 21st November 2003, Telemedia acquired Edamax and Casamax from Grupa Metrovision.
On 1st June 2004, Telemedia's channels Edamax, Casamax and Frizbi Network were renamed as Telehouse, Telefood and Teletoon.
On 1st March 2005, Telemedia's entertainment channel Telehumor was launched.
On 20th January 2006, Telemedia was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 5th May 2007, Telemedia's channel Teleauto was launched.
On 15th April 2009, Telemedia's channel Tele HD was launched.
On 5th December 2009, Telemedia's entertainment channel Teleklub was launched.
On 12th June 2013, Telemedia's knowledge channel Telestrana was launched.
On 1st June 2014, Telemedia's children's channel Play TV was launched.
On 20th June 2014, Telemedia's shopping channel Teleshop 24 is renamed as QVC under license by Liberty Interactive.
On 1st September 2016, Telemedia was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 6th March 2017, Telemedia's children's channel Teletoon Switch HD were launched replaced Teletoon HD.
On 30th November 2017, Telemedia's channel Telestrana is renamed as Musictoon.
On 1st November 2018, Telemedia sold Play to Alef Media.
On 1st December 2021, Telemedia's television channel Teletoon Switch HD was closed.
