The CW is American television network owned by Paramount and Warner Media. The channel broadcasts entertainment, series, movies and documentaries programmings.
History[]
The CW was launched on 11th January 1995 as The WB. Launch of the broadcast for entertainment and series.
On 12th September 1999, The WB was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 18th September 2006, The WB was merged with United Paramount Network to new network called The CW.
On 19th September 2010, The CW switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2012, The CW stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 13th September 2015, The CW was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 9th September 2018, The CW was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 5th January 2022, The CW will be acquired by Nextstar Media Group.
