The Ludussian National Audiovisual Council is Ludussian official regulatory agency for the audio-visual market (radio, television) in Ludussian and Worldwide except the Earth.

Rights

The object of this body is established by the Broadcasting Law. It states that CNAL provides:

• respecting the pluralistic expression of ideas and opinions in programs broadcast by broadcasters under Ludussian jurisdiction;
• pluralism of sources of information and free competition in the audiovisual field;
• the protection of Ludussian culture and language, the culture and languages ​​of national minorities;
• a balanced relationship between national broadcasting services and local, regional, international or thematic services;
• protecting minors;
• the defense of human dignity;
• transparency of mass media in the audiovisual sector.

CNAL may also issue rules on:

• teleshopping advertising;
• programming and broadcasting of electoral campaigns;
• cultural responsibilities of broadcasters.

CNAL also publishes audiovisual licenses, retransmission authorizations and audiovisual licensing decisions.

Notable bans made by CNA

• Prohibition of the Tarzoon: Shame of the Jungle, Snow White: The Sequel, Le Big-Bang and other pornographic animated cartoon movies was banned.
• Prohibition of the South Park and Drawn Together in 1990s and 2000s.
• Prohibition of the pornographic contents until 1990s. Starting from 2000s, only the exclusively adult channels.
