Travel Channel (Regemia)

Travel Channel is Regemian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Regemia. The channel broadcasts documentaries and reality-shows related to travel, expeditions, cooking, culture and nature.

History[]

Travel Channel was launched on 5th January 1999 as Travel. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.

On 6th March 2000, Travel was renamed as Travel Channel.

On 19th September 2004, Travel Channel was acquired by Travel Channel International.

On 1st December 2008, Travel Channel was added in Regemian subtitles.

On 15th November 2010, Travel Channel was switched to 16:9 image format also launched in high-definition version.

On 22nd May 2012, Travel Channel was acquired by Scripps Networks Interactive Regemia.

On 25th March 2013, Travel Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.

On 6th March 2018, Travel Channel was acquired by Discovery Networks Regemia.

On 9th April 2022, Travel Channel was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Regemia.
