UPC is Polish telecommunication company owned by Liberty Global. The company have cable television, internet and telephony services.

The company UPC was established in October 2000 as a result of the takeover by UPC, Polska Telewizja Kablowa, existing since 1989.
According to the data of the Polish Chamber of Electronic Communication, UPC had in the fourth quarter of 2014 over 1.437 million subscribers (31.25% of the market) and was in this respect the largest cable network in Poland.
On 16 September 2011, UPC bought Aster, the total purchase price - including the debt of the Aster network in the amount of approx. PLN 1.53 billion - amounted to approximately PLN 2.4 billion.
On October 18, 2016, the plenipotentiaries of UPC signed a preliminary agreement for the purchase of shares in Multimedia, the third largest cable operator in Poland at that time. The value of the transaction was set at approximately PLN 3 billion (USD 760 million). On March 23, 2018, UPC withdrew its purchase agreement for Multimedia. UOKiK had reservations.
