UTV is Dekanian television network owned by EM Planeta. The channel broadcasts educational, culture, documentaries and movies related to fantasy, drama and comedy.
History[]
UTV was launched on 16th September 1985 as Učenije Telekanal. Launch of the broadcast for educational and culture.
On 12th January 1988, Učenije Telekanal was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 16th September 1991, Učenije Telekanal was renamed as UTV.
On 1st April 1993, UTV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st June 1996, UTV was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 27th September 1999, UTV was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st June 2002, UTV was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 13th February 2006, UTV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 16th September 2010, UTV was rebranded with the new idents were changed following 25th anniversary.
On 2nd September 2013, UTV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed, switched to full 16:9 image format, plus high-definition version was launched.
On 1st January 2016, UTV was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 13th September 2021, UTV was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
