Winkom Ludussia SRL is Ludussian telecommunication company owned by businessman Glynn Daumer. The company have cable, satellite and IP television, telephony, mobile and internet services, 21 television channels and 5 radio stations
History[]
Catatonial Telecom was founded on February 1, 1993, the provider of cable and internet television in Ludussia. Originally, it was owned by United International Holdings.
On January 10, 2005, Catatonial Telecom acquired a 70% ownership stake from Deutsche Telekom AG.
On February 7, 2005, Catatonial Telecom SRL and Catatonial Info were rebranded as Winkom Ludussia SRL and Winkom Info.
On July 13, 2010, Winkom has purchased sport channel for Telesport, and then a month later renamed as Winkom Sport.
On November 19, 2011, Winkom has purchased movie channels for CineStar, ActionStar, ComedyStar, and then a week and a half later renamed as Winkom Cinema, Winkom Action, Winkom Comedy.
On August 1, 2019, Vodafone Group took over Liberty Global.
On March 30, 2020, Winkom will be closing by reason: merged with Vodafone
