Wizja TV is Polish telecommunication company owned by UPC Polska. The company have direct satellite television service.

History[]

Wizja TV was founded on 15th September 1998. Found of the company for direct satellite television and the channels (Wizja 1 and Twoja Wizja).

On 15th March 1999, Wizja TV's movie channel Wizja Le Cinéma was launched.

On 31st March 2001, Wizja TV's entertainment channel Wizja Jeden was closed.

On 25th July 2001, Wizja TV's exclusive channel Wizja Info was launched.

On 31st December 2001, Wizja TV's sports channel Wizja Sport was closed.

On 1st March 2002, Wizja TV was closed by reason: merged with Cyfra+.
